MDMK chief Vaiko met DMK president M Karunanidhi at the latter's residence yesterday. Both of them discussed seat-sharing for the forthcoming Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu. The meeting was cordial and after the meeting Vaiko declared that MK would be the next Chief Minister as the DMK-led Democratic Progressive Alliance (DPA) was poised for a massive victory in the polls. Vaiko had also accepted the invitation of DMK general secretary K Anbazhagan to attend the Tiruchirapalli conference. After the meeting, Karunanidhi told mediapersons that the list handed over by MDMK was being studied, and that the MDMK would get an "honourable number". Its now appears that MDMK and PMK will be allotted the same number of seats.
